Project Description

Donnelly Construction was awarded their first Goddard School project by Jarmel & Kizel Architects. This one-story ground-up project features an 8,700 SF building with an additional 4,500 SF of outdoor playground space for the children.

The new building was located on an uneven lot which featured extensive site work involving land clearing, demolition and asbestos abatement of an existing structure, earthwork, and the construction of two retaining walls which run along the entire length of the building. The new building was wood-framed and featured engineered wood trusses and all new utility services.

The new pre-school consists of nine classrooms and twelve bathrooms for children six-weeks old through five years old, and contains a full working kitchen and parking for over thirty cars.
