Project Description

Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury is one of New Jersey’s premier and most sought-after wedding and event venues, offering a world-class experience in the Garden State. Donnelly Construction was selected to turn this 100-year-old summer mansion into a 21st-century marvel, while still preserving its historical elegance. Work included a state-of-the-art remodel and 30,000 SF all steel-framed addition. Other large changes to Shadowbrook included; removing the roof of the kitchen and Oak Room to increase the height required for new MEP systems, a new ceremony pavilion replete with a private chapel, and an onsite salon. New porches helped bring the venue up to tomorrow’s standards of ultra-private and luxurious weddings. To preserve the history of this magnificent building, Donnelly Construction has removed and safely stored many of the antique doors, panels, chandeliers, and moldings to be re-used for this project.
